Summer 2022 – A data-driven approach for water safety plans in sustainable buildings to predict and prevent disease

Hamilton has been awarded a new $157,302 NSF grant titled “Collaborative Research: An integrative framework for decision support models including plumbing system dynamics and value of information to meet Legionella control goals” that is a direct follow-on to her Zimin Institute project. Partners include the New York State Department of Health and the College of New Jersey. Hamilton will work with the NY DoH to install the sensor suite developed at ASU in some of their healthcare buildings.
